Hotel Fontana di Trevi

The Trevi Fountain has become one of the must-see tourist attractions of Rome and the covered terrace and the rooms overlooking the square provide you with a ringside seat.

You have two options; you can either enjoy a private view over the fountain, ignoring the tourists, or you can witness first hand the reaction of tourists of many nationalities to the fountain.

However, and this is one of the amazing things about Rome, a few metres further up from the fountain and its souvenir shops you will find a little fruit and vegetable market on a tiny little square lodged between the buildings and the high walls of the Quirinal Palace.

The hotel is located in the historic centre of Rome where a network of little streets, spanning monuments and churches, leads to every part of the city.

Note that taxi access to the hotel is tricky as your have to walk the last 50 metres over uneven cobblestones.
