Hôtel François 1er

Services & Prices

At the top end of the Champs Elysées, the hotel is in a quiet, completely residential street. The nearby George V avenue and the Champs-Elysées are, of course, quite the opposite. Wide and busy with a huge mix of shops and businesses from the ultra luxury of the Louis Vuitton building to the simpler premises and endless boutiques selling off-the-peg clothes.

Across the Champs-Elysées from the hotel in the Rue de Berri and the Rue de Ponthieu and indeed bordering the roundabout are a large number of restaurants and cafés that teem day and night with en eclectic mix of people, as well as bars and eating places that are cheap and excellent value.

For tourists there is the Arc de Triomphe, a triumph of the Empire period with its stunning views across Paris, while the museums of modern art or Jacquemart André provide, for different reasons, worthwhile goals for walks across Baron Haussmann’s Paris.

The proximity of the Champs-Elysées to the hotel makes moving round Paris quickly by bus, metro or taxi extremely easy.
