Between Rue Monsieur le Prince and the Théâtre de l’Odéon, Rue Casimir Delavigne is a small quiet street with a few shops.  

The area around the Odéon is noted for its cultural emphasis and a higher than average number of bookshops per square metre than the rest of Paris.

Plenty of restaurants, cafés and bars are situated around the Odéon; the Sorbonne is a step away as are the markets of Rue de Seine and Rue de Bucci. Also close by are the Luxembourg Gardens, the chic shops of Saint Sulpice and the area of Saint Michel’s with its cheap eating places and narrow streets.
