The Marquis sits on the rue Duplex, a small quiet street which is residential with a few shops, a supermarket and boulangerie, adjacent to the chic avenue de Suffren, bordered by elegant classic buildings and simpler, more modern buildings.

Just behind the hotel is Swiss Village, a shopping centre housing 150 antique shops.

Not far from the hotel are the typical Parisian quarters of Motte-Picquet and Dupleix where an open-air market is set up every morning under the suspended metro and where you will also find numerous shops, restaurants and cafés.

The hotel is also less than a five-minute walk from the gardens of Champ de Mars which you can saunter through to the Eiffel Tower.

From the nearby Motte-Piquet metro station, there is a fast, direct line to most areas of interest in Paris, including the Arc de Triomphe and the shopping hub of the rive gauche at Sèvre Babylone.
