Apart from the green and peaceful square directly in front of the hotel, the rest of the area is quite lively.  Gloucester Place, down one side of the hotel, and, more importantly, just a block away, Marylebone Road are both busy and full of offices. The most popular tourist venues of Madame Tussaud’s, the house where Sherlock Holmes lived and the wonderful Regent’s Park are nearby.

For those less interested in tourist attractions, the hotel is only a ten-minute walk from Marylebone High Street with its gourmet restaurants, delicatessens, designers and trendy boutiques. Oxford Street with its large stores is just over 15 minutes away.

The closeness to Paddington station and the express to Heathrow makes it only half-an hour from the hotel. Less specifically there are also other good bus and tube connections.
